Overview

The Omni King Edward Hotel has occupied its prestigious corner lot on King Street since it became Toronto’s first luxury hotel in 1903. The centrally located downtown hotel honors its past with meticulously preserved cathedral-height coffered ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and crown molding brushed with gold leaf. Guest rooms echo this stately aesthetic with a palette of silver and cherry red. After catching skyline views from the 17th floor’s Crystal Ballroom, check into Mokara Spa—a recent addition—for body, facial, and salon treatments enhanced with aromatherapy. Call upon the Les Clefs D’or concierges to design a night on the town.

Map & Location

The Omni King Edward Hotel resides in the heart of downtown Toronto at the intersection of King and Victoria Streets. The hotel is about 18 miles east of Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), approximately a 25-minute transfer by taxi or limousine, which can be arranged by the concierge for an additional fee. The Union Pearson Express connects Toronto Pearson International Airport to Union Station in about 25 minutes; from there it’s a four-block walk to the hotel. We do not recommend renting a car—public transit is efficient and reaches most area attractions.
