Anantara Hoi An Resort stands on the banks of the Thu Bon River, a placid waterway that has snaked through Hoi An since its heyday as a 15th-century trading port. Head to the resort’s private jetty for a river cruise, or pedal a bicycle to the wooden Japanese Bridge or Confucian family shrines. Anantara Hoi An Resort is located less than half a mile from the central district of Hoi An and about 18 miles from Da Nang International Airport (DAD), approximately a 50-minute trip by taxi or concierge-arranged limousine transfer. We do not recommend renting a car—most of Hoi An is pedestrian-only and designed for exploring on foot. Complimentary bicycles are also available for getting around. If you wish to travel beyond the area, try a curated excursion and coordinate transportation with the concierge.
