The new Pay Over Time option gives you more flexibility in paying for your Inspirato home vacations and Inspirato Only experiences, when you make your reservation 61+ days in advance of your arrival date. The full cost of your reservation (including taxes and fees) is divided into equal monthly installments. You pay the first installment on the day of booking. The balance is billed automatically to a bank account registered on inspirato.com, in equal monthly payments, with full payment to be complete at least 30 days prior to your trip.
Pay Over Time is specifically designed in response to member feedback. Through surveys and other feedback channels, members have told us they would like more flexible payment terms for their Inspirato trips. The most requested change is the ability to make reservations with an initial partial payment, rather than needing to pay the full amount upfront.
There are a few criteria for using Pay Over Time. First, only new reservations for Inspirato homes and Inspirato Only experiences are eligible for Pay Over Time. This option is not available for existing reservations, or to book hotels or other types of travel we offer. Second, trips must be booked 61+ days in advance. Trips booked 60 days or fewer in advance are not eligible. Third, you must use a designated bank account as the method of payment. You cannot use a credit card.
When you select your travel dates on inspirato.com for an eligible reservation, you will be given the option to view a Pay Over Time payment schedule. You can then select Pay Over Time if you would like, and proceed through checkout to make your initial payment. You will receive an email with your payment schedule, specifying the dates that your monthly payments will be automatically withdrawn from your designated bank account.
The first monthly payment (made at booking) must be made by bank account (you may apply Travel Perks and Travel Credits). We then automatically charge the balance of the reservation cost to your designated bank account, in equal monthly installments, such that full payment is complete at least 30 days prior to your trip. Credit cards cannot be used to pay these monthly installments.
Because members have the flexibility to make their reservation with just one low initial payment, with no interest or financing fees, no discounts apply in connection with using a bank account for Pay Over Time bookings. You will continue to receive a discount when you use a bank account to pay in full for reservations at the time of booking.

For Inspirato home reservations, unless a residence-specific reservation policy applies, the Standard Cancellation Policy that applies when a member opts for a refund in Travel Credits applies to Pay Over Time cancellations, with two changes. First, the Vacation Subtotal refund percentage is based on the amount the member has paid to-date for the reservation on their Pay Over Time payment schedule. Second, all refunds are paid in Travel Credits (there is no option to receive the refund in cash). Consistent with the Standard Cancellation Policy, members always receive a 100% refund of the taxes and fees they have paid to date.

Simply log in to inspirato.com, access your Account in the upper right hand of the homepage, go to the PAYMENT METHODS section, click on “Add Bank Account,” enter your U.S.-based bank information, accept the Terms and Conditions, and you’re done.
